iPod Shuffle (3rd-gen) Review…

Apple had made a great turnaround in the history of musical players by creating the utmost quality performer and yet miniscule in size…. The third generation iPod shuffle which has a capacity of 4GB appears to be half the size of your thumb or smaller than an AA battery… The two amazing features of this iPod among many other specialities are that it is relatively small in size and it is the first talking musical player too…

UNBELIEVABLY SMALL: In creating this extremely small sized iPod, Apple had made for sure that the technology should not be compromised… This stylish, tiny and yet slimmest iPod Shuffle from Apple has definitely going to stir a lot of sensation in the world of music and music lovers… The Shuffle’s resemblance to a USB stick probably threw me the most…. Over the course of just one day, I must have lost the Shuffle at least five times in between home and work….

CONTROLS: It is essential to mention that the controls had been shifted to the right ear bud cord and that has given a lot of extra space that could help in reduction of size…. It is located just in the right place where it could be accessed quite easily and is its strategic position is place conveniently, navigation of music playlists is you can very well say is just a child’s play…. And even more important is the activation of VoiceOver which could be done without the need to take your eyes off from what ever that you are doing…

PODCASTS & AUDIOBOOKS: The Shuffle now supports automatic podcast and audiobook management, and is smart enough to keep the material from popping into the default music shuffle… It’s also smart enough to play these files sequentially, regardless of whether the shuffle switch is on or off… The Shuffle treats podcasts and audiobooks as playlists, so if you want to hear them you have to press and hold the button until VoiceOver starts reeling off your playlists…. As a side note, the remote’s volume buttons let you quickly scroll through playlists…

The only problem i have with this player is that i HAVE to use Apple’s headphone as controls are on the headphone itself..i tried to plugin my Bose In-Ear Headphones but they didn work… :(
